Abstract:

A Computational Science is working with a number of tools. Simulation, Visualization, Data Analytics, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence are some of the techniques used. All of these technologies need compute power such that high performance computing becomes one focus around which technologies center. In the talk we will present the state of the art in high performance computing and dive into the future trends that will create a convergence of technologies in the coming years. We will show cases in which simulation, visualization and artificial intelligence together can help to come to better solutions for users both in science and research.
