It is our great pleasure to welcome you at the 9th International Young Scientists Conference in Computational Science (YSC’2020).
Initially, YSC was organized jointly by the University of Amsterdam (UvA) and ITMO University to brought together early career researchers and professionals in high performance computing.
After that, we took a decision to use YSC as the collaborative event, where UvA and ITMO University have shared the idea with the other international-level universities. The second conference took place in Barcelona as a satellite event of International Conference in Computational Science (ICCS-2013) and was dedicated to urgent computing and computations for decision support in critical situations. Each year we select a new venue and new partner to host this event. Our institutional partners from Amsterdam, Barcelona, Athens, Krakow, Kotka and Heraklion became our hosts during those years.
This year due to CoVid-19 pandemic we decided to have our annual event online. We accepted the challenge and put all efforts into creating an interesting event for you.
